Summary

Using proxy based recording and updating your Lync client to Skype for Business results dropped P2P calls.

If you have standalone Proxy server:

Step 1 - Log in to the server and stop the Verba System Monitor, Verba Node Manager Agent and Verba Media Collector and Proxy services. 

Step 2 - Go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Verba folder

Step 3 - Delete the packet.dll and wpcap.dll files (skip if the current version is Verba 8.2 or above)

Step 4 - Open the downloaded zip file and copy the verbaagent.exe and recorderproxy.exe files to the Verba folder. Replace the old ones. 

Step 5 - Install the WinPcap (skip if the current version is Verba 8.2 or above)

Step 6 - Start the previously stopped services

If you have Proxy and Recording server co-located: 

Step 1 - Log in to the server and stop the Verba System Monitor, Verba Node Manager Agent, Verba Passive Recorder and Verba Media Collector and Proxy services. 

Step 2 - Go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Verba\bin folder

Step 3 - Delete the packet.dll and wpcap.dll files (skip if the current version is Verba 8.2 or above)

Step 4 - Open the downloaded zip file and copy the verbaagent.exe, verbaengine.exe and recorderproxy.exe files to the bin folder. Replace the old ones. 

Step 5 - Install the WinPcap (skip if the current version is Verba 8.2 or above)

Step 6 - Run the patch.reg file from the downloaded zip file (skip if the current version is Verba 8.2 or above)

Step 7 - Start the previously stopped services

Step 1 - Log in to the server and stop the Verba System Monitor and Verba Recorder Proxy services. 

Step 2 - Go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Verba folder if it's a standalone proxy server. If it's colocated with the Recording server go to the \bin folder.

Step 3 - Open the downloaded zip file and copy the recorderproxy.exe file to the folder. Write over the old one. 

Step 4 - Start the previously stopped services
